Description:
Workforce development is a key area of support by the local authority to the adult care market and an important component in enabling Suffolk County Council (SCC), Adult Social Care (ASC) to meet statutory responsibilities relating to commissioning under the Care Act. The overarching requirement of this service is to support the care market regarding the forecast of the future needs of Suffolk customers. To increase awareness of good practice, have a stable workforce, encourage a positive culture with increased staff retention. To work with the council to identify and address gaps in the Suffolk social care workforce skills and training to enable them to deliver a range of care and support, from promoting independence to complex care. And work closely and positively, with all stakeholders to improve market capacity and better equipped to develop and be sustainable. Estimated date of publication of Tender Notice : 16th September 2025. This is estimated and subject to change. The VAT included is 20% Standard Rate however in some circumstances VAT may be exempt or chargeable at a different rate.
