- Housing Related Support Service to support up to 18 young people aged 18 - 25 who have been unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC) and are now former relevant care leavers seeking asylum. They may or may not have leave to remain. The service will deliver support to young people living in shared houses in South Gloucestershire.
The service currently supports 11 young people living in two shared houses and we are looking to increase this to support a further 7 young people in an additional two houses.
The Council wants to maximise the chances for these young people to enable them to increase their independence by supporting them to establish the skills they need to embed into the local community and manage their accommodation.
