- Dumfries and Galloway Council has a duty under Section 32B of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 as amended, to conduct a housing support assessment for applicants who are unintentionally homeless or threatened with homelessness and that they have ‘reason to believe- need the housing support services prescribed in regulations. The ‘regulations- are the Housing Support Services (Homelessness) (Scotland) Regulations 2012. This opportunity is for the provision of high-quality outreach housing support within the Dumfries and Galloway region for anyone who has been subject to domestic abuse and/or coercive control. This includes those who have been assessed as homeless or threatened with homelessness.
