As part of the University-s vision for the 2030s, we are currently exploring Transnational Education opportunities, including scoping the potential in the Indian market following India-s University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations allowing foreign higher educational institutions (ranked in the top 500) to set up campuses in India.
At this stage, the University seeks expressions of interest from Indian and/or foreign institutions/organisations or consortia interested in working with us. We are open to exploring all forms of TNE collaboration. We invite EOI responses by the above deadline containing the following:
- Information on the experience you would bring in relation to delivery and or/support of quality international higher education in India.
- Information on your experience of UK Higher Education and working in partnership.
- Proposals detailing:
o Location(s) of potential Newcastle University TNE activity, including physical infrastructure
o Potential models of delivery and collaboration
o Potential subject areas
o Industry collaboration and careers and employability
- Information on the proposed operating/commercial model
