- SPT does not currently have the ability to reprofile its locomotives wheelsets and are looking to understand if there are any companies available that would have the ability to do this for us. Some key things that we would be looking to understand is cost and the details as to how it would be carried out and how long the process of sending away / returning the wheelsets would take. It is crucial that the locomotives are not out of use for a significant period of time. Interested parties should express their interest in this notice and we may contact them to discuss any potential opportunity.
