Description:
The London Borough of Havering is seeking to commission a provider for the delivery of the Living Well Community Wellness and Empowerment Service. This service is designed to support adults aged 18 and over who are living with neurodivergent conditions and disabilities, with the aim of promoting health, wellbeing, independence, and community empowerment. The contract will commence on 1st February 2026 and run until 31st January 2029, with an option to extend for a further two years until 31st January 2031, subject to satisfactory performance. Key Service Objectives: • Deliver early-stage, preventative support to reduce reliance on statutory services. • Provide personalised, goal-oriented interventions that improve physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. • Foster community resilience and cohesion through inclusive, accessible, and locally delivered services. • Support educational and vocational development to enhance economic outcomes for individuals. Scope of Services: The service will be delivered across four core areas: 1. Health Promotion and Wellbeing Activities - Including fitness classes, nutritional advice, wellness workshops, and mental health support tailored to neurodivergent and disabled adults. 2. Community Engagement and Social Activities - Social clubs, peer-led support groups, and volunteering opportunities to reduce isolation and build social networks. 3.
