The Library Service is a statutory service, and LCC must ensure delivery of a comprehensive and efficient service. As an indication of the programme being tendered, the services required comprise of; universal services, a core library service, targeted provisions, a rural service and a non-statutory provision.
The Council is approaching the end of an extended long-term agreement and will be tendering for the Library Services portfolio in time for renewal on 1st April 2026.
