The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (the “Authority”) intends to run a procurement process to procure a contract with a single supplier for the provision of Biowaste treatment services. The scope of the service is anticipated to include the treatment of co-mingled food and garden waste collected from the kerbside of GMCA-s nine constituent local authorities.
This market engagement exercise includes the completion of a Soft Market Testing Questionnaire and Market Engagement Day which will be held on the 30th August 2024 at a Central Manchester Location.
Organisations responding to this market engagement exercise (“Candidates”) who wish to participate in the Market Engagement Day and 1-2-1 sessions [in advance of completion of the Soft Market Testing Questionnaire] must register their interest by sending a message to request an appointment via the The Chest etendering portal (the “Portal”). The Authority will then respond to confirm further details, including availability and timings. The time limit for registering for the Market Engagement Day and 1-2-1 interviews is 17:00 on 23rd August 2024. Please note that Candidates who opt to participate in the Market Engagement day and 1-2-1 sessions are required to provide their own travel arrangements to the Market Engagement Day meeting location, which shall be confirmed by the Authority as part of the registration process.
