Abstract: Monmouthshire County Council is seeking to commission an experienced organisation to provide semi-independent supported lodging support to Young People with complex support needs within Monmouthshire.The service will support a maximum of five (5) young people at any one time, who will be aged sixteen (16) to twenty-four (24) and who have varying support needs, some of which will be complex. The Council aims for each young person to step down to other suitable accommodation by the age of eighteen (18) when safe and appropriate to do so.For the avoidance of doubt, this service is not a regulated service and does not require registration with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) or Social Care Wales (SCW ).The Service Provider understands young people may be looked after by the Council, or maybe care leavers.
