Abstract: Devon County Council has a statutory duty under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 to assess the need and have a strategy for domestic abuse support for all victims (and their children) who reside in relevant. The Council is recommissioning its Domestic Abuse Support Services with an anticipated implementation date of April 2025. The Services will form an integrated model that covers access to support, advice and guidance, early intervention, risk planning & support, support in safe accommodation and therapeutic and practical recovery support. The ambition is to provide a trauma informed person-centred delivery that leads to a positive sustainable change for those supported and their families.Given the breadth of delivery in scope, and the specialism within this service, submissions from provider consortiums and partnerships as well as single organisations will be welcomed.
