- COAST-s aim is to improve the adaptive capacities, climate resilience and prosperity of vulnerable coastal communities, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive management of their marine environment and coastal resources. Abstract: Component A will deliver integrated activities across COAST-s themes at a range of scales through three sub-components. Sub-components (SC) 1 and 3 will deliver support through technical assistance and capacity building, partly delivered by the Core Team and partly by a flexible Technical Assistance pool. SC1 will focus on COAST-s priority countries of Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and Mozambique, with the potential to scale up to 2 x additional countries in Phase 2. SC3 will be used to support projects aligned to COAST-s aims and objectives that are proposed by UK Embassies and High Commissions (posts) in ODA eligible host countries.
