- Tenders are invited for DfE - REB - Review of Rates of Return for Renewable Electricity Generators Accredited under the NIRO CfT CA Unique ID: SSD-4563 Evaluation Mechanism: Best Price-Quality Ratio Description: ***Pre Market Engagement*** The Department for the Economy (DfE) is preparing to initiate a procurement process to establish a contract with a Supplier to carry out a review of the rates of return for generators of renewable electricity for all technologies accredited to the Northern Ireland Renewables Obligation (NIRO). The purpose is to ensure that actual rates of return are compatible with the original projections and State Aid rules. The potential scale and scope of this service is such that it offers a significant opportunity to bidders. Prior to initiating the procurement DfE wishes to establish the level of market interest in participating in the procurement process.
