- Tenders are invited for Consultancy Services for Refurbishment andReplacement of Mechanical and Electrical Services at City Baths, Derry T ENV21-024 CfT CA Unique ID: DCS-218 Evaluation Mechanism: Best Price-Quality Ratio Description: Consultancy Services for Refurbishment and Replacement of Mechanical and Electrical Services at City Baths, Derry The existing City Baths are located at William Street, Derry and have been in operation for approximately sixty years. However, with the onset of the Covid19 emergency in March 2020. It was decided to temporarily close this facility to the public and the baths have remained closed since that time. At the time of closure, it was decided to reduce or, close down the operation of some of the mechanical and electrical services with a view to reducing the ongoing operating costs of the building, however due to the nature of the building and the age of some of the infrastructure it wasn-t possible. Council now wishes to reopen this facility to the public and bring the pool back into use.
