- Darlington Borough Council wishes to appoint a single Contractor for the provision of a range of Advocacy services for eligible adults. The Services will include: Relevant Person's Representative (RPR), Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA), Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), Care Act Advocacy, A Deprivation of Liberty authorised by the Court of Protection Rule 3 Representative, Advocacy support to people with a hearing impairment, some limited General Advocacy, the provision of training to friends and family members to support them in the advocacy role and the development and support of Peer Advocacy which will be further detailed in the Specification.
