Abstract: Lot 1 is generally for higher volume delivery and learners will typically be referred (though not exclusively) by Jobcentre Plus, for example:— generic employability courses,— sector specific courses,— ICT courses.These courses may be commissioned on an area-wide basis (i.e. Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough) as a programme which will be delivered over 1 or more academic years. These also may be commissioned for specific cohorts of learners as individual courses according to need and location. Individual learning aims may be specified.
