Project Description : The Supply an Arc Melter
The arc melting instrument will be used mostly by Mechanical Engineering research teams within the Institute of Energy Futures, the Centre for Energy Efficient and Sustainable Technologies, and Wolfson Centre for Sustainable Materials and Development Processing.
The arc melting instrument will be used to evenly melt pure metallic elements under inert atmosphere and high temperature within a short time to produce special sorption alloys and catalysts for enhanced H2-solid energy storage systems. - Documents :
