Description:
The Council is currently part of a joint contract with the other Districts in the County for its e tendering system. The joint contract is currently held by Cambridge City Council as the lead with Proactis and ends on 25th February 2026.

This market engagement exercise is being run in accordance with Cambridgeshire County Council-s (the Council) Contract Procedure Rules and (if relevant) the Procurement Act 2023. The Council is running the market engagement and intended procurement on behalf of:
Cambridge City Council
East Cambridgeshire District Council
South Cambridgeshire District Council
Huntingdonshire District Council
Fenland District Council

In addition, it is possible that Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority will be named in the procurement.

The Council (with its partners) wishes to procure an e procurement system which is compliant with requirements of the Procurement Act 2023, the Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023 (PSR) and Public Procurement Regulations 2015 (PCR), enabling publication of relevant notices and end to end management of procurement projects and as such seeking to engage the market first to help it refine its requirements.
